"Complete Telecom Appoints Derek Vard As Chief Financial Officer"
Dublin, 31st March 2008 – Complete Telecom, the managed network and telecoms services provider, today announced the appointment of Derek Vard as Chief Financial Officer. Derek will be responsible for the entire finance function of Complete Telecom, overseeing a reorganisation and streamlining of the business as the company strives for significant growth over the coming years.
Derek has extensive experience as a financial professional, with more than twenty years spent in a diverse range of industries. He joins Complete Telecom from Ashville Media Group, where he was Finance Director from October 2004 to December 2007. Prior to that, he was General Manager of Coretime from October 1999 to September 2004. At Coretime, he managed the successful trade sale of the company to Sage. He has worked previously in both industry and accountancy environments in Ireland and the Middle East.
Derek has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1984, and was made a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA Institute) in 1995.
