"Complete Telecom Launches Fastest Internet Connection In Ireland"
- 10 Gigabit Internet Connection now available for 95% of Irish corporates
- New service 10,000 times faster than basic business broadband packages from other providers
- Government Networks has acquired 1 Gigabit connection
Dublin, 22nd May 2008 – Complete Telecom, the managed network and telecoms services provider, today announced the launch of Ireland’s fastest internet connection. Business and public sector customers can now avail of Complete Telecom’s 10 Gigabit (10,000 Mbps) internet connections. The new ultra-fast connection is available to 95% of corporate users in Ireland.
Complete’s new 10Gbps offering is ten thousand times faster than other providers’ basic business broadband connections, and more than eight hundred times faster than the most advanced business broadband connections.
Complete Telecom also announced that it has recently installed Ireland’s fastest internet connection – a 1 Gigabit (1,024 Mbps) connection to Government Networks (formerly known as the Government VPN).
Complete Telecom runs a business-only, NGN-only telecommunications network. This means it provides the best possible quality fibre-based connectivity to its customers. Complete doesn’t offer services to residential customers. Because of this, it can offer services and security that are optimised for large enterprises.
