"Complete Telecom Announces Ten new High tech Jobs"
- Ten new sales and engineering jobs to be created at Complete Telecom for its Dublin and regional operations
- Strong sales in recent months and continued growth drive demand for new staff
Dublin, 9th July 2008 – Complete Telecom, the managed network and telecom services provider, today announced the creation of ten new high tech jobs for its Dublin headquarters and to support its regional expansion. The bulk of the new posts will be in engineering and support departments, with the remainder made up of business development, technical sales and pre-sales staff. Recruitment will start immediately. Complete hopes to have all ten new employees in place by the end of September.
The drive for new staff comes on the back of a series of high profile new business wins and partnerships over recent months coupled with continued strong organic growth. Complete Telecom recently launched the fastest internet connections in Ireland, installing a 1Gbps link for Government Networks, and becoming the first telecoms company to offer a 10Gbps connection in Ireland. A new partnership with Cidway, the mobile authentication specialist, is driving significant additional business in the IT security market.
Complete announced in February that it would invest more than EUR3m over the coming years in a 200km extension to its fibre network, complementing its extensive existing Dublin fibre rings. The company was recently named Cisco Premier Partner of the Year, was shortlisted for Telecoms Company of the Year at the 2008 ICT Excellence Awards and was a finalist at this year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards.
