Dublin, 14th February 2008 – Complete Telecom, the managed network and telecoms services provider, and its partner Enterasys are hosting a free seminar entitled ‘Securing the IP-Enabled Network’. The seminar will provide practical information and examples on how businesses can secure their networks against threats from the growing range of IP-enabled devices. It takes place on Wednesday, March 5th from 10am to 1pm in the Guinness Storehouse at St James’ Gate, Dublin 8.

The seminar will benefit IT managers, IT directors and all those responsible for managing and securing networks. Its focus will be to help companies successfully manage the health and availability of their network infrastructure in today’s complex enterprise environments where more and more devices are being attached directly to networks.

Enterasys will provide a practical demonstration on how to secure such networks in a critical application environment, illustrating how to reach the balance between strong security and the needs of business functions. Technologies including Network Access Control, Intrusion Defence and Security Information Management will be demonstrated.
